History
Starting in 1995 as the development company Southern Retirement Services (SRS), the principals of Aspire developed, owned and operated the Dogwood Forest brand of assisted living properties in the Atlanta metropolitan market as well as several other large-scale senior campus communities, including the Marshes of Skidaway in Savannah, GA.
After successfully building occupancy over a several year period, the properties were sold to long term buyers in the industry. SRS remained focused on providing consulting services to landowners, developers, lenders, investors and operators to determine and implement a successful strategy for converting their assets to superior senior living properties.
In 2013, Aspire was founded by the former CEO of SRS, David R. Hink and finance veteran, David A. Dlugolenski Jr. Aspire quickly established partnerships with industry leaders in senior housing design, construction, finance, operations and marketing to deliver the next generation of senior housing.
